Zetron’s CAD, Mobile CAD and GIS Application Suite
Zetron’s Next-Generation 9-1-1-ready CAD application is an efficient, affordable dispatch and incident-management solution that can adapt as your needs change.
Easy to use. The clean, intuitive design of the graphical user interface (GUI) makes the system easy to learn and use.
Efficient incident window. Workflow efficiency starts with an open-incident window that allows each incident to be viewed and worked by any authorized dispatcher. Within the active window, dispatchers can provide emergency personnel with critical information such as street directions, medical histories, and hazards related to the situation. Incident-specific information is presented in red for high visibility. The drag-and-drop feature allows dispatchers to move information easily into the incident-management window.
Reliable, hardened technology. Zetron CAD uses standard Microsoft network and database architecture and is hardened for high availability and disaster tolerance.
Support for standard COTS products. The application’s development in a .NET framework and utilization of a SQL database support commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) workstations and servers.
Robust local administrative controls. Zetron CAD can be configured by the CAD administrator to meet current and evolving agency requirements. This allows the application to grow and change along with the public safety answering point (PSAP). It also reduces support costs and allows local customization without the expense other customized CAD solutions typically incur.
Scalable, customizable architecture. The application scales to support multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional environments. Workflows and reporting features can be customized to support agency preferences.
Navigation options. Dispatchers can navigate easily by using the command line, right-click mouse menus, keyboard shortcuts, or function keys.
Advanced reporting. An advanced reporting package allows you to create standard or customized reports and to fulfill routine or ad hoc reporting requests. The CAD database’s SQL architecture facilitates rapid search and report generation.
Records management system and protocol integration. Zetron CAD includes optional interfaces to records-management system (RMS) applications, protocol-integration solutions, and other third-party databases. This allows agencies to integrate third-party medical and disaster Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into Zetron CAD. Zetron CAD can also integrate with RMS applications through an XML data stream.
Additional Zetron CAD features. Zetron CAD includes scheduling tools, officer-welfare alarms, and the automatic rotation of tow-truck companies and other on-call services.
